I worked a couple of hours doing security at a performance by "The Bedroom Philosopher" before going to my usual security job, the venue owner asked me to take some photos before i left. I only had ten minutes and I was quite out of my element, but i managed to get some acceptable photos. I was also limited by the fact that the only lens i currently own is a 50mm 1.8, my wide angle zoom has had its day.
iso 1600 on the 1d is beautiful.

Does anyone own or has used a canon eos 1d mark III, because i plan on purchasing one today or monday and was wanting some experiences opinions.

I got this today to add to my growing collection of da vinci art books. Perfect bedtime reading; bed times don't really exist in a normality form for me; so i guess, it would be prefect on bed reading.
Once more,
Never again,
Never comes true.
Why with us, is there never a last time.
It doesn’t matter how long,
I don’t see you.
There is never a last time.

Taking the above photo i dropped me lens cap, leaned over to pick it up and the wind blew my tripod over, nasty sounds and elevated heart rate later, my 10d is now quite an ugly being. smashed the built in flash and put a lot of cracks in the body. It still takes photos, but every now and then spits out random errors and i have to turn it off to get it ti shoot again. Not the most wonderful thing, hopefully it won't progress, i will not be able to get another camera.
To add insult to injury my two Siamese fighters died. Too cold in their bowls because winter is kicking in, or at least that is what i presume. My tropicals are ok in their tank, i feel bad, i was rather fond of one of them.
i don't really post here anymore, but i still browse my friends list and add new people to it.
